About Globus
Globus is an epic rock band founded by award-winning composer and producer Yoav Goren. With three studio albums, Globus has established itself as one of the world’s premier symphonic rock ensembles. Their song “Orchard Of Mines” peaked at no. 12 on the Billboard Hot Singles chart, their debut album “Epicon” was in the iTunes Top 20 albums chart, and their thrilling live concert at Wembley Hall in London is available on the DVD “Globus Live From Wembley”. The band’s third studio album, “Cinematica” has recently been released to rave reviews.
Globus have had an amazing array of world class musicians and vocalists contributing on their records. Joining such luminaries as Robert Fripp (King Crimson), Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Ringo Starr, ELO, Santana, Duran Duran) and Tina Guo (Hans Zimmer, Joe Bonamassa) are vocalists Lisbeth Scott (Avatar, Shrek, Narnia, Passion Of The Christ), Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering) Dan Pursey and Ryan Hanifl. The Globus body of works purposefully features varied vocal stylings and singers as a way to highlight the multi-genre aspect of their song catalog, which ranges from heavy rock to cinematic orchestral to ambient pop. Gluing each album in the catalog is a sensory experience of a cinematic journey, fueled by the integration of world class orchestras and choirs throughout the unabashedly bigger-than-life production ethos.
Globus' upcoming album, "Unforgiven", is a collaboration with A.D.A.M., featuring TD Lind. The singles "Ordinary Man" and "On The Run" are out now.
