Yoav Goren
Yoav Goren is an award-winning composer and producer who, as one of the original pioneers of the trailer music genre, co-founded and led the Immediate Music catalog for over 25 years prior to its sale to BMG. Goren helmed a team at Immediate Music which notched over 6,000 sync placements in some of the film world’s most storied franchises. He has written and produced orchestral cinematic music heard on hundreds of film trailers for some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters of all time, such as the “Harry Potter”, “Avengers”, “Spiderman” and “Lord of the Rings” series of films. Goren also created, composed and produced for the 1 Revolution Music production music library, a label specializing in underscore for television programming worldwide. In 2007, Goren was awarded an Emmy Award for “Best Music in Sports Programming” for his compositional work on NBC’s Torino Winter Olympic Games. Additionally, Goren has scored the long running FIFA World Cup theme music for NBC/Telemundo. He is also a recipient of a BMI Composing Award and was honored with the Vanguard Award at the inaugural Hollywood Music in Media Awards in November 2009.
Goren also founded and currently runs Imperativa Records, a label dedicated to the Epic Music genre, featuring artists such as Globus and Trailerhead. He also recently joined the creative team at Fight Or Flight Music, a boutique trailer music label launched in 2021.
Goren's enthusiasm for the beautiful game has led him to create the album FUTBOL IS EPIC - a collection of European soccer team themes imagined in an epic , heroic style, featuring various vocalists and recorded with a live orchestra and choir at the Streisand Scoring Stage in Los Angeles.
